This policy describes how cancellations and refunds are handled for services provided by Alvoro INC. Because our services involve custom software development and consulting work, refund terms are typically defined in each project's Service Agreement.
General Policy
Custom development and consulting services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, as fees compensate for time, expertise, and resources allocated to your project. Specific refund and cancellation terms are outlined in your proposal, statement of work, or service contract.
Consultation and Discovery
Initial consultations are typically offered at no charge. If a paid discovery or scoping phase applies, its cancellation and refund terms will be specified in the applicable agreement.
Project Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel an active project:
- Notify us in writing as soon as possible
- You are responsible for payment of all work completed up to the cancellation date
- Any prepaid amounts for unstarted work may be refunded at our discretion, minus any non-recoverable costs
- Deliverables completed prior to cancellation will be provided upon payment of outstanding fees
Project Cancellation by Alvoro INC
We reserve the right to cancel or pause a project if payment terms are not met, required client cooperation is not provided after reasonable notice, or the project scope falls outside our service capabilities. In such cases, you will receive deliverables for all completed and paid work.
Monthly Support and Retainer Services
Ongoing support and retainer agreements may be cancelled with 30 days written notice. Fees for the current billing period are non-refundable. Unused hours or services within a billing period do not roll over unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Disputes
If you have concerns about billing or deliverables, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of invoice receipt. We will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.
